REQUIREMENTS

First round of audition (video record)

Selection of participants will be made through video recording. The video record must be not longer than 20 minutes and contain 4 different music genres (including the 1 piece of compulsory program) The video record should be not older than one year.
(*A participant is allowed not to play the compulsory program by prior agreement with the administration)

Please submit the recorded audition no later than Monday 15th of October, 2018. Recorded auditions received after Monday 15th of October, 2018 will not be considered. Participant will be notified of the results of the recorded audition no later than Monday 15th of October, 2018.

Second round of audition (Live performance)

Candidates who successfully pass the first round of audition will be admitted to the second round in the city of Abu Dhabi from 01-03 of December 2018.

Requirements to program of the second round:

  • The jury can choose any piece from the first round.
  • Possible sight reading (chamber music, quartets, ensembles…)
